![]() ![]() ![]() I need this shipped to the UK as fast as possible to finish my build. So hoping someone knows of some hidden stock. He suspects it might be clutch / flywheel related and thus terminal if not looked at properly. Hes gone through all the usual things (tyres / exhaust / wheel balancing etc etc ) but wants to now take it to a specialist to analyse further. This flywheel was designed at the request of our customers wanting TTV Racing quality. Hes got a S4 B6 which has recently developed a vibration through the car that hes having trouble tracing. Its becoming a popular upgrade to use the RS4 B7 clutch on the 2.7T cars. Audi S4 / RS4 2.7T Lite to suit RS4 B7 clutch. Every website I try says they are out of stock including 034 motorsport. TTV Racing Flywheel - Audi S4 - RS4 B5 2.7T Lite to B7 RS4 Clutch. I ordered 2 of these and got them both last week. Im looking for somewhere to buy a 034 motorsport flywheel for my b5 s4. Weve measured & checked numerous times, but I wouldnt mind some input. Still waiting on a response.Įverything graciously mispelled by AndroidYes, original HW works. Figured Id post this here rather than in my build thread, as I need some confirmation quickly to avoid holding up the engine going back in. I asked Ben if the original hardware from the B7 RS4 clutch kit would be used to bolt the clutch to the flywheel. The cost for this flywheel is a measly 30£ over the standard one, making upgrading to the B7 RS4 clutch that much easier. One for standard clutches and one for the B7 RS4 clutch. So, TTV beat it to the punch and is now offering two flywheels for the 2.7T. I've also read much about the B7 RS4 clutch upgrade for the RA4 flywheels and thought we could adapt these to work with our flywheels. TTV sounded like an excellent route and people love them. I've wanted a steel flywheel after hearing about the many shitty situations regarding Fidanza flywheels and decided it would be better to go this route. And lastly we all know someone can sell it for cheaper if they are willing to make a smaller profit and some places are just cheaper to make a product.ĭid someone say something bad about TTV? Because I am not sure what you'r mad about.I was browsing for flywheels and clutch setups for when I remove my trans. Prices are effected by material costs and labor cost to have them machined but I am sure you already know that. Our flywheels are dynamically balanced and incorporate an integral ring gear for high rpm safety. CNC machined in our UK based factory from forged chrome moly steel. Clutch Masters has their flywheels made in bulk so they tend to have them in stock ready to go. From single seaters to drag racing, we do it all. ![]() The CM flywheel for the 2.7t and 1.8t both have the ring gear machined into the flywheel itself instead of attaching one after the fact. Now that's a service.īecause most of all those shops have their flywheels machined right here in the states, most of them right at Aascc in Southern California. If I remember right it was 40 pounds extra for any alterations you want to basic model and they will turn it for you within two days. The irony is that if you order TTV today, you will have it in your hands literally in two days (they ship with Fedex express 2-day included in price!), while other US options you'll have to wait for a while if you choose ground or pay extra 100$ (due to weight) to have it shipped with faster option but who knows if they have these in stock anyway.Īnd.if you talk to Ben at TTV and want it heavier/ligther, different pins, different step up, he will do it for you. Last time I was in EU, it is not China and to make stuff over there it actually costs money, most of times more than in US, no kids turning lathes there! ![]() I am running their 2.7T single mass flywheel on my b5 s4 and am very happy with it. Every website I try says they are out of stock including 034 motorsport. Hi All, I have a TTV racing flywheel BNIB for those running an S4/rs4 clutch upgrade. Ok, explain to me then why CM, southbend, other options in US for a billet steel FW are $700+ and I can get, in my opinion better item since it is truly one piece FW unlike others that still have a screw on starter ring at least, but this stuff shipped from UK is so much less. I'm looking for somewhere to buy a 034 motorsport flywheel for my b5 s4. ![]()
